A problem has come to light. It would seem that YSMenu built from this unofficial v1.17a01 lacks the ability to run homebrew software (including Moonshell 2).

Therefore although it has slightly better ROM compatibility than the real v1.17, I cannot recommend it to anyone who wishes to use homebrew software. Sorry about that.

Ok, here we go again...

Another unofficial version of the DSTT firmware has been released - http://gamewiki.jp/uploader/dsm/src/dsm0221.zip.html

Here's a R4YSauto-ready version and a necessary dldi file.

Instructions: Make YSMenu with R4YSauto as normal. You will notice that the dldi.dat generated is 0 (zero) kilobytes. It's broken and this is why homebrew software failed to work with the previous unofficial DSTT release. There's a fix though - delete it and replace it with the dldi.dat available here. This will allow homebrew software to work. Yay.

And before anyone asks, SWCW:Jedi Alliance STILL doesn't work.

I was wondering where I can download the settings so I can launch the YSMenu from the Moonshell button on the R4 menu? The attachment in the original post in the thread about the YSMenu says this attachment is no longer available.

Use a2h's program, and when you run it select the "Media Replacement" option in "Boot Method".

Its a lot easier.

A new unofficial version of the DSTT firmware has been released which contains many sought-after game fixes. Here's a version of r4ysauto that contains the new firmware. I also modified it to accept the latest YSMenu file (YSMenu0903270000). This version will also keep the dldi file intact so homebrew is not affected. Same rules apply - you still have to download YSMenu0903270000 from Yasu's site.

All r4ysauto credits go to Maikel Steneker.
