YSMenu: A Firmware Still Being Updated for the R4

nvm i got it but why when i soft reset i get stuck at the loading screen and also why cant i use my old R4 themes

The YSMenu soft reset function does not work on R4 cards.

YSMenu skins work slightly differently than R4 skins. Only two images are needed, name the top one YSMenu1.bmp and the bottom one YSMenu2.bmp and place then in the TTMenu folder. If you wish to change the colour of the text/select bar etc edit this part of the YSMenu.ini (also in the TTMenu folder).

Hi, I'm not sure why, but I keep having to take out and re-insert my R4DS card (official, not clone) for it to start. Would installing YSMenu help fix this problem, or is my card going? I haven't even had it for 6 months yet!

This sounds like a hardware issue to me. Search for "paper trick" here in the forums and see if that fixes your problem.

The backlight codes in the GBATemp cheat files don't work on my YSMenu. However, other codes do. Well, I only tried one, since I'm only after the backlight codes and I only tried to confirm that it was only the backlight codes that were experiencing odd problems.

Any ideas as to the solution?
